The idea was perfect, but we couldn't decide between 3D or 2D. We started with 2D, but I had a problem. The problem was that I didn't know how to make a microwave work because if I did, our character would start eating when he woke up. But it didn't work. (P.S.: It wasn't Scratch as such, it was TurboWarp, which is more of the same.)
Once again I tried with Scratch, but this time in pseudo 3D, which was a fairly unused technique since the most used was Griffpatch, which was raycasting like the DOOM games. This was the most well-known in the community. Clones were also well-known, but not as much. This is quite ingenious, as it is a photo that always looks at the camera, like DOOM with the monsters or weapons. By adding many, you can create a wall. As I said, it's pseudo 3D, less like raycasting, but with my method, I knew it would be more terrifying. I managed to get it to a stable 30 fps because that was the maximum, but of course, I did this in TurboWarp because I didn't like Scratch very much because it was slower and didn't have many options. But I didn't give up on it because of that, but because I was trying to make a door that would transport me to the next map, which was the neighborhood. The previous map was the house. So I don't know how I would manage to maintain 30 fps without drops, so I put the project on hold.
